KPIs are a two-way street defined by how well the company delivers what employees want and the productivity and innovation delivered by employees as a group. In addition, consider cause and effect. What your organization does today, later drives results for customers, which in turn improves shareholder value. And finally, keep in mind that numbers are never the entire story.
