Guy Austin is a respected Practice Director for the Global Logistics Sector at P&C Global, and a key contributor to our Digital Transformation and Strategy & Innovation practice groups. With industry prowess in global logistics, travel and hospitality, and manufacturing, Guy is well-versed in supply chain management, transportation and distribution management, inventory management, and warehousing and storage.
Guy’s professional journey started with FedEx, where he rose through the ranks to become a Regional Logistics Manager. He then joined DHL as a Distribution Center Director before accepting a pivotal role as Global Supply Chain Director at Maersk. These successive roles gave Guy hands-on experience with the intricacies of global logistics, laying a robust foundation for his current role at P&C Global.

Guy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Simon Fraser University majoring in Operations Management and a Master of Engineering Leadership in Resource Engineering Management majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from University of British Columbia. He also earned postgraduate executive education certifications in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from the University of Toronto, and Operations Management from the University of Alberta. Finally, Guy holds professional certifications from the American Society of Transportation & Logistics and the Association for Supply Chain Management.
Splitting his time between Montreal and Istanbul, Guy embraces the cultural vibrancy and culinary delights of both cities. A passionate ruby player since high school, Guy enjoys the strategic and physical challenges of the sport and often draws parallels between a successful rugby match and a well-managed supply chain. Other hobbies include hiking, photography, and mastering the art of Turkish coffee brewing. Guy often says, “In supply chain management and rugby alike, it’s all about strategic moves and swift decision-making – the perfect blend of brains and brawn.”
